Dear Mr/Mrs,

I am writing to complain about the loud music that you put in your  shop, sometimes it seems a disco and not a shop and it is annoying.

When I enter in a shop of course I want to hear some music because it makes me feel more comfortable, but the moment that I entered in your shop I was appalled by the stronger and louder music ever. Maybe there is a middle pint between my opinion and yours.

If you just turn down a little the music I would be very gratefull and I know for sure that I am not the only client who thinks that, so maybe you should revise this point and reconsider your opinion if you don't want to lose a client.

I hope to llok foward from you in a near future, the music it is not an extra thing, it is important to put it right.

Yoursfaithfully,

Maria Rosa Pintor Borrego

Martin's formal letter

To the owner of (shop name):

My client and I (Mr. Silent Soul and Mr. Angry Attorney, respectively) request you to read our letter and inmediately take action upon our requests, so we avoid going to court.

As you might have noticed due to recent complains, we are writing this letter to inform you about the current sound levels in your shop and urge you to change it.

We believe it is atrocious for you to keep the volume at, more or less, 100dB. We firmly believe that, in order to have a full, pleasant customer experience, the music shall be at, at least, 120dB. Some call it "mind-blowing" or "ear-destroying", but we call it "I am so bored I am falling asleep". Therefore, in order to be able to shake our bodies with recreational purposes (also known as "dancing"), we request you to kindly turn the volume up (or, as my client said, I quote, "turn the goddamn volume up, would you?").

I am writing this letter with the best of my intentions, but my client has a strong passion for appropiately loud music; therefore, I will fight my way to court if that is what you wish, only to get those (I quote my client) "sweet sweet drops" and that (I quote again) "soul-smashing bass".

Yours sincerely,
Mr. Angry Attorney

Mr. Silent Soul

Dear Sir/Madame

We're writing to complain about te sexist content of your advertisement of the creme, "the weight loss collection".

Although we are believers in freedom of expressions, we don't think that this is the correct way to advertise your product because it can provoke or creates complexes in women that are not too satisfied with their bodies. We think that your advertisement promotes an stereotype  of beautiful woman that isn't true because the beauty of a woman is not the same for all people. Not all women that won't to go to beach have to have this body.

We look forward to hearing from you in the near future and thanks for your attention.

Your Faithfully

Dear Mr. Ryan,

I am writing to complain about the Ryanair company, which was advertised in Cabin crew charity calendar.

I am very disappointed with this type of advertising because encourages sexuality and could be considered sexist. Although I am a firm believer in freedom of expression, I was appalled by the way that called the attention of the consumer.  I think it is not appropriate to show scantily clad hostesses.

While I accept that one latter is unlikely to make you change the advertising campaign, I can assure you there are many people and mothers who think the same as me.  I really like that you reconsider your advertising company a less illicitly.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future and I hope that you change your marketing strategy.

Yours faithfully,

Estela Molina

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to complain about the offensive content that I found in your advertisement, which has been seen on a billboard.

Although I am a firm believer in freedom of expression, I think that the message that your company transmits can be very offensive to people with overweight.

I understand that your company supports vegetarian food but I think that this is not the way to promote it. In your advertisement you are judging people by their life style.

I look forward to hearing from you in the near future and I hope that you will reconsider your advertising strategy.

Yours faithfully,

Loli Pascual

Dear Mr/Mrs,

I am writing to complain about your advertistment at the entrance of a tunnel in AP-7. I believe that this advertistment is full os sexiest conent.

While I was driving I saw it and I was appelled by the sexist attitudes expressed by it. I think that people should have freedom of expression, but when this freedom becomes sexiest I do not think that is good for the society. The position of the women has improved, but we are still for from achieving gender equality.

I accept that this letter will not make change your miond but if I spreed the voice I know for sure that many men and women could share my feelings.

I look foward to hearing from you in the near future and I hope that you will reconsider your advertising strategy.

Yours faithfully,

Miguel Ortiz and Maria Rosa Pintor

Good person

A good person is that one that worries for the others. He or she doesn’t remain with the appearance of the things and looks beyond. I think that all persons are good, but depends who we ask we can seem to be a good or bad person. A good person is the one that helps and looks for all, this kind of person normally have a big heart, but is difficult to describe what are a good person. The goodness is accompanied by the evil

writing exam

Option A: "Working and studying is a good idea ?".

 · Working and studying is very difficult, when you are studying the time is very important if you want to pass the year. It is not usual that the people work and study, a lot of people only work or only study.

When you are young, the money is very important for you, for the parties, eat with your friends, with your girlfriend, therefore young people done and that's the main benefit. Additionally, acquire experience for the future, that is also very important.
The main negative thing is the time, more people when working and studying at the same time leave one thing, normally the studies. This is probably a mayor cause of the scholar abandonment, whereas is not good for the society and the country in general.

On balance, working and studying is very difficult, a lot of young people prefer work for the money, but the best is study when you are young, to have a better job in the future.

Opinion Essay

WORKING AND STUDYING, IS A GOOD IDEA?

Nowadays, some young people work and study at the same time because it's the only way to they for study. This can be a good or a bad idea, it depends on the person and how he/she manage his"her time. However, working and studying have advantages and disadvantages.

On the one hand, for people who have economic problems, work and study at the same time can be very useful because it's an opportunity to study. This idea of doing the two things at the same is not only an option for people with dificult economic problems, it's also a way to earn some money to buy a car or just to get a comfortable life.

On the other hand, working and studying can not be a good idea if you are not a good student or a responsable person. Doing both activities at the same time it's complicated yo handle, ypu have to be very methodic and strict, and not everyone can be it. If you are not seroius with this, your life would be a complete disaster.

Personally, I think that is a very good idea because you earn money for a future, but it's an option that brings you some responsabilities and you have to do it.

IS WORKING AND STUDYING A GOOD IDEA?

In some countries, most of the students of our age work part-time while they're coursing their last year of high school. Is it really a good idea?

On the one hand, it helps students pay part of their student loans. Some high schools and universities are very expensive and maybe what their parents earn is not enough to pay it. It also gives them freedom because they're not depending on their parents and this prepares them to face the adult world.

On the other hand, studying requires time and obviously if you have a job it's going to be even harder to have time to study. Another reason why this is not a good idea is the stress students suffer already. Having to work too can be too exhausting and stress can lead to emotional issues.

My opinion is that, even if it helps you pay your loans and maybe makes you feel more independent, having a job interferes too much with your studies and studying is the most important thing right now. It's what will make you find a real job that you will enjoy.

WORKING AND STUDYING

Some people believe that when you go to university or other high studies, you should also a is good due to
find a job. However, there are both adventatges and disadventatges to this idea.
On the one hand, some people think that the day is very long and you can do in the same time different things. For exemple, working and studying. Furthermore, they think that this idea is good due to the fact win some money so you are more independent; you will pay the studies or whatever you will need.
In spite of this, some students and people believe that this idea is crazy because working and studying at the same time can be very stressfull. Furthermore, they think that while you are working, you don't think in the studies.
On balance, I think that this belief is good for to help my parents whit money. In the future, I will do this!
